RubanBuild ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Ruban Softwares, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Data we collect

Account data: company name, your name, email address, and hashed password when you sign up.
Project data: sites, labour, materials, BOQ, billing, and files you enter into the app.
Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information for analytics.
Payment data: plan selections and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment gateway and never stored on our servers.

2. How we use your data

To provide and improve the RubanBuild service.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, payroll notifications).
To process billing and subscription management.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (email delivery, payment processing, hosting) under strict data processing agreements.

4. Data retention

Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days. After account deletion or expiry, data is purged from production systems within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.

5. Security

Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
